SWINDON'S mayor,was due to spend today touring the town's fire stations.
Coun Peter Stoddard's tour was planned to begin at Swindon fire station with a demonstration of fire fighting with an aerial appliance, followed by a display of rescue techniques at Stratton St Margaret station.
The tour was expected to finish at Wiltshire Fire Brigade's training centre in Devizes.
