THE boys from Wiltshire went through to the last 16 of the FA Youth Cup on Saturday in what manager Mel Gingell described as the most nerve wrecking game he has ever watched.
Wiltshire took the lead at Kidderminster Harriers' Aggborough Stadium on ten minutes when the home keeper fumbled winger Scott Lye's cross. The ball fell to the feet of striker Adrian Heath who slotted it in from close range, but Wiltshire then found themselves 3-1 down as they conceded three goals in less than ten minutes.
The visitors then went on a goal scoring frenzy of their own and were 4-3 up by the 70th minute.
It started when Bath City midfielder Yan Klukowski played an accurate long ball into the path of Heath. He made no mistake from the one on one situation.
Wiltshire were level ten minutes later when Klukowski picked the ball up in his own half. He showed a great display of skill as he took on three players and drilled the ball home from 18 yards.
They were back in front on 70 minutes Lye ran down the right wing and cut the ball back to Klukowski who unleashed an awesome shot that flew into the top corner.
Worcester then equalised with five minutes to go before Wootton Bassett striker Matt Bennett won the game with a fine individual effort.
Gingell said: "I'm obviously delighted at the result but watching the game was frightening."
Wiltshire have been drawn at home in the next leg against either East Riding or Leicestershire. The tie will be played in December at Melksham.
