Devizes will be well understrength in the next round of the FA Vase as six key players will be gallivanting around Manchester attending a stag weekend.
Defender Andy Coombes planned his stag party four weeks ago as Devizes had no game on November 20.
But the win over Willand Rovers on Tuesday means they now have a second round vase fixture on that weekend.
The stag do also involves Coombes' team-mates Nathan Sheridan, Brad Newman, Nick Taylor, Dave Lloyd and Andy Stone. To cause manager Godley more problems, striker Simon Price starts a suspension that week.
Godley will put in a special request to the FA to try and change the date. He said: "We will go to the FA for help but do not hold think that they will let us change the fixture."
The 32-year-old Coombes said: "Getting married during the football season is very difficult. I tried to go on a weekend when there was no football but things don't always work out."
"I feel really bad but there is nothing I can do about it. I cannot change the date of my stag do as it has already been paid for."
Coombes, of Cepen Park Chippenham, is marrying Julie Stone, who works in marketing. They met 12 years ago on a night out in Devizes.
Godley said: "Realistically we need our full strength side to get a result at Frome. We will just get on with things and do the best we can.
"This is an important game for the club and if we get a result it will be one of the biggest upsets this season. I consider Frome as one of the best sides in the South West of England."
The groom-to-be said he will be ringing Godley straight after the game and hopes Devizes can still go through, but that will be a difficult task as Frome are near the top of the Screwfix Premier League and are unbeaten so far this season.
The shortage up front could mean a start for assistant manager John Freegard. He has come on as a substitute three times this season but could find himself in the starting line up.
