More than 120 young rugby enthusiasts from Wootton Bassett enjoyed a dream day as they met new England rugby coach Andy Robinson.
Bassett youth coach Mark Roshier took the children aged between six and 12 to a triangular competition between Bath and Cleve's youth players at Bath RFC's Recreation ground.
A few of the Bassett teams had the privilege to play on the first team pitch but the highlight of the day for the children was meeting the England boss.
Robinson, who recently took over from World Cup winner Clive Woodward, attended the day to watch his son and daughter play for Bath. He took the opportunity to meet some of the youngsters and referee a few games.
He also took time out to sign autographs and meet some of the parents. Roshier thought that it was a great experience for the kids. He said: "It is fantastic for them to meet the coach of the full England team."
The tournament was played on a round robin basis. It is only a friendly competition aimed at giving the children competitive experience.
Roshier said: "The games were quite even, every Bassett team won at least one game out of the three."
