THE Wiltshire Times has been shortlisted for another prize in this year's Newspaper Society Weekly Awards 2004.
The nomination follows on from last year's success when the Newspaper Society named the Wiltshire Times as its Weekly Newspaper of the Year in the south west and Wales category.
Over the past year the paper has been on the pulse of local events with a seven-page special on the Trowbridge armed siege last November and a whole host of exclusive stories, including a Hilperton farmer saving a drowning toddler and a virus outbreak at Center Parcs in Warminster.
The awards will be announced at a ceremony in Coventry on November 17.
Last year the Wiltshire Times also won the Newsquest Weekly Newspaper of the Year award.
