A JOURNALIST from The Times gave a lecture as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of Bradford on Avon's Preservation Trust on Friday.
About 200 people turned up to hear Marcus Binney OBE, architectural correspondent for The Times and keen conservationist, deliver his talk The Battle For Britain's Towns at St Margaret's Hall.
Past chairman of the Trust Margaret Dobson opened the evening with an amusing presentation on the trust's history.
