RESIDENTS are protesting against plans to extend a care home.
The planned extension at 12a Masefield Avenue, Upper Stratton, caused 20 residents of the street to object.
The development would provide an extra four rooms for the home, which currently has just three rooms. The residents are worried about traffic, privacy and the site being overdeveloped but Swindon Council's planning officers have recommended the plans be approved.
The planning committee will discuss the application at 7pm on Tuesday at the Civic Offices, Swindon.
