A world famous palaeontologist is to lead a hunt for fossils in the Cotswold Water Park.
Dr Neville Hollings-worth, who starred in the BBC's The British Isles: A Natural History, will lead the event Mysterious Monsters and Amazing Ammonites on November 7.
The hunt will take place at a quarry, which is currently the most prolific area for fossils in the UK.
The reason for this is quarrying activity that has taken place in the park which has exposed fossils from thousands of years ago, including ammonites and woolly mammoths, pictured.
And those taking part will be hoping that Dr Hollingsworth will strike lucky again after discovering an intact skull of a mammoth skull in January this year.
