CELEBRITY swimming star Sharron Davies will be guest of honour at a charity film screening next month.
The Olympic medallist will grace a glittering reception prior to the charity premiere of Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason at Cineworld, Greenbridge, on November 10.
There will be two screenings of the film, the sequel to Bridget Jones's Diary, starring Renee Zellweger, Hugh Grant and Colin Firth. The first is at 7pm after a 6.15pm reception. The second screening is at 9.15pm, with the reception at 8.30pm.
Money raised from the event will go to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
Tickets are £15 each and are available from the Cineworld box office, or by sending a cheque and a stamped addressed envelope to Gail Tuke-Hastings, PO Box 183, Cirencester, Glos GL7 7WZ. State which performance you would like to attend.
