IT'S amazing how much clutter gets accumulated in the average home. It may be disused fitness equipment, untouched kitchen gadgets or scores of unwanted CDs and books.
Now, Highworth residents are being urged to gather up their unwanted possessions and put them to good use.
A series of car boot sales are being held to boost the coffers of the Raise the Roof Appeal.
Fundraiser Jackie Seagrott said: "Car boot sales are an easy way to raise money.
"We want people to help raise cash for themselves and help our appeal.
"We desperately need this facility, and without it a lot of people will suffer."
The first sale is scheduled for Sunday, November 7, at 1.30pm, and they will then be held on the second Sunday of each month.
Book a table or space for a car for £5 or a van for £7 by calling Jackie on 01793 763391.
The appeal aims to raise cash to replace the water filtration and pumping plant at the lido.
Around £350,000 has already been raised to build a retractable roof.
Another fundraising drive has seen hundreds of people decorate ceramic tiles.
Local business are needed to donate £100 to sponsor display boards.
Each board will show 25 tiles, and will bear the company's logo.
Call Jackie for further details.
