TOWN director Bob Holt admits the board will 'snap the BBC's hands off' if Auntie offers to beam the FA Cup tie with Sheffield Wednesday live to the nation.
Should the call be forthcoming then it would immediately guarantee the Wiltshire club a £75,000 broadcasting fee. And if the match is relayed on BBC Radio Five Live then that would add another £9,000.
Just three days after the astonishing 3-2 win over the Owls, the teams have been drawn to meet in the first round of the cup.
The game, arguably the most attractive tie of round one, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 13 but should the tie catch the eye of television chiefs it could be switched to the preceding Friday or the following Sunday.
Even if the match is overlooked by television, a healthy gate should still be the outcome.
It is a particularly sweet draw for Holt, who was upset that the league match between the two clubs was postponed and eventually played in midweek, robbing Town of vital revenue.
Holt estimated that the match being postponed cost the club up to £40,000. Television coverage would more than make up for that.
He said: "It really is a plum tie, and let's just say that any possible television money would be a wonderful treat for the club.
"If the BBC ring up to offer it then I think you can say we'll bite their hands off."
"I think the prozac is only just starting to kick in after the game against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek. It was very exciting stuff.
"If the FA Cup match is just half as exciting I don't think there'll be too many complaints."
The draw gave directors and supporters something to look forward to after the disappointment of seeing Town blow a 3-1 lead against Torquay at the County Ground on Saturday to end up 3-3.
