AFC Stratton made Premier Division leaders Corsham Town pull out all the stops before a late strike in the second half gave the home side a 2-1 victory.
Stratton boss Tony Dyer was disappointed with the result and thought his side unlucky not to have come away with at least a point.
"We played all the second half with 10 men, the lads worked extremely hard and we were on top for long spells, I was very pleased with the effort and I don't think we deserved to lose," he said.
Stratton were a goal up courtesy of a strike from Jimmy Wright and should have made it two shortly after when they were awarded a penalty but Wright's spot-kick struck the post and was scrambled away.
Worse was to follow for the Swindon side when they lost the services of midfielder Robbie Broadbanks just before the break when he received a red card following a conversation with the match official.
Soon after the start of the second half, Corsham were awarded a penalty for a push in the box and top marksman Rob Humphries stepped up to take the kick which was blocked by Stratton keeper Darryl Smith.
But the ball rebounded for Humphries to score at the second attempt.
Stratton's 10 men worked hard for a share of the spoils but with under 10 minutes to go Adam Taylor scored the winner from a goalmouth scramble.
Stratton will have a chance to even the scores when the two sides meet next week in the Corsham Print Senior cup.
Purton Reserves gave Bradford Town a run for their money in the first 45 minutes at the Red House.
The deadlock was broken soon after half-time by Steve Roddy, who went on to score a brace with Steve Bryant, Stuart and Charlie Powell contributing to Bradford's 5-0 success.
Cricklade Town ran out 7-1 winners at Shrewton, despite going behind early on from a strike by Luke Kerley.
Ian Ross was on fine form for Cricklade, scoring an equaliser and adding three more, all good headers. Adam Smith scored twice, one from the penalty spot and sub Tim Johnson came on to score a seventh.
The local derby between Devizes Town and Pewsey Vale resulted in a 3-0 win for the Town, Nathan Moffatt scoring an early goal and Marcus Wollen lobbing the keeper for a second just before the break.
Moffatt sealed Pewsey's fate by adding a third midway through the second half.
Bromham were beaten 3-1 at home to Calne despite going a goal up through Jamie McLaughlan.
Gary Banks equalised for Calne just before the break and Eddie Everett and Darren Legg gave them the points.
Malmesbury Vics looked like collecting all three points at Westbury but a last-minute goal from Paul Beavers gave the home side a share of the points in a 1-1 draw.
Only two games were played in Junior One, Cricklade Reserves and Wroughton sharing a 1-1 draw and Lower Stratton beating West Swindon 5-2.
Cricklade took a first-half lead through Paul Kennedy, but Wroughton equalised through Martin Killick after the break.
A hat-trick from Ian Fawkes and goals from Kevin Smith and Paul Moss enabled Lower Stratton to collect all three points against West Swindon.
Match of the day in Junior Two resulted in a 2-1 win for leaders Castle Combe over their nearest rivals Barron Heating.
Following a goalless first half, James Pope struck twice for the visitors with Martin Lewis pulling a goal back for the home side.
AFC Abbey Rodbourne moved into second spot with a 2-1 win at Tidworth, thanks to a brace from Paul Parsons.
County Ground and Pinehurst shared a 3-3 draw, Paul Loveridge, Dean Hughes and a late equaliser from Paul Johnson for County Ground and Preddy, Johnson and Dodson for the visitors.
Stratton St Margaret, third in the table, gained a 4-2 away win over AFC Rodbourne thanks to goals from Jimmy Miller. Lee Hurd, Dave Guy and Danny Murphy.
Westlecot United were the section's highest scorers running in six goals against Westside Reserves, Griffin and Murphy (two each) Osagie and Lomax the scorers.
Following their victory over Barron Heating, Castle Combe remain unbeaten from 11 starts.
