BUS operator Thamesdown Transport is raising some ticket prices today.
According to the company, the rise is necessary because the cost of fuel has increased around 40 per cent.
Adult single tickets increase from £1.20 to £1.30 and from £1.60 to £1.70
Adult return tickets will go up from £2.50 to £2.70
Concession single tickets will increase by 5p from 60p to 65p and from 80p to 85p and concession return tickets will go up to £1.35 from £1.25.
All other fares will remain unchanged.
The company says it's unlikely that these price rises will go back down to their original levels, because it cannot see fuel prices decreasing.
