An arts festival which aims to bring culture to Swindon kicks off today.
The Imaging Festival has been organised by Swindon Artscape and SBC and features 14 exhibitions as well as installations, talks, workshops and portfolio sessions where artists can show off their work.
One of the most controversial exhibitions will be My Home Town an exhibition of photographs of Swindon by Mark Pope as a reflection of his negative feelings about Swindon.
The exhibition takes place at the Wyvern Theatre's Harlequin Bar from Wednesday until December 3.
To find out more about the events taking place as part of the festival call Swindon Artscape on 01793 466 520 or visit www.swindonartscape.co.uk.
