Faringdon Town returned to Division 1 action with an emphatic 5-1 win over title rivals Lambourn Sports.
Frustrated Lambourn had a player dismissed in each half, as they succumbed to Town's 'hit on the break' strategy.
After Mike Kelly had made two fine saves to keep Lambourn at bay, Tim Thurston, Lee Moss, Robbie Harrington and Chris Benson all scored to give Faringdon a 4-0 half-time lead. Jason Brizzell pulled one back for Sports but Robert Owen sealed the victory.
In Division 2, Coleshill United remain second on goal difference after a 3-0 win over Buckland, thanks to strikes by Greg Higgs, Shane Blake and Dan Ward.
Shrivenham A grabbed their first league win with a 6-0 win over suffering Stanford-in-the-Vale. Matty Hirst bagged a rare hat-trick with Neil Sutton, Rob New and Lee James also on target.
In the North Berks League Cup there was a terrific comeback by Uffington Reserves against Coleshill Reserves.
Going 2-0 and 4-2 down, Uffington were inspired to draw level each time through Andrew Gardner (4, one a penalty) and then substitute Dave Roberts headed the winner with only three minutes remaining.
Favourites Ardington & Lockinge Reserves lost 4-2 to Blewbury Reserves, and another fancied team to go out were Drayton Reserves, losing 3-2 to holders Benson AFC.
