Half-Term limited the North Wilts & District Youth & Minors League to just a number of matches, mainly in the older age groups.
The action still managed to throw up a real surprise in the Under 17 Division where previously unbeaten Liden Community lost in an 11-goal thriller at Fairford.
The home side went 2-0 up at Cinder Lane before Liden rattled in four.
Fairford came back with two goals of their own to level things up only to see Liden go in front again.
Fairford refused to surrender, however, and two more goals edged them ahead at the final whistle.
Star of the show for Fairford was Duncan Culley with four goals with Olly Garner completing their tally with a brace.
Stratton Juniors B maintained their 100 per cent record, winning 4-1 at Wootton Bassett.
Sean Leake scored from the spot for Bassett, while Stratton's goals came from Anthony Cacchio (2), Rory Sproule and Craig Whitbread.
Stratton's win, though, was tainted by the sending-off of Sproule late in the game.

After hitting the crossbar, he then netted his and Wroughton's fourth, before Fairford hit back with a late consolation goal.
Stratton Juniors, meanwhile, were given a surprise by Wootton Bassett, whose Jonny Aitkenhead had to play in goal due to them having no recognised keeper available.
