Swindon Spitfires' under 14s suffered their second defeat of the season at the hands of Keynsham Town, but the final 5-1 scoreline failed to do the Swindon side justice.
The first half was even, with Lauren Wakeling scoring for Spitfires to make the half-time score 1-1.
Spitfires looked the stronger of the two sides, but the opening 10 minutes after the break saw them concede four goals.
Spitfires composed themselves and spent a lot of the time in the Keynsham half, but despite strong pressure and some great play they were unable to score again.
Spitfires gave a good performance, with some great contributions from Grace Purnell, Lauren Wakeling, Kayleigh Hawkins and Lucy Woodward.
Spitfires player of the match was Louise Hoffa.
