TALES of Wiltshire's scary ghouls and ghosts will be the subject of a talk at the University of Bath in Swindon this week.
In a lecture called Wiltshire's Haunted Landscapes, Katy Jordan looks at folk customs, legends and ghostly tales associated with locations in the landscape of Wiltshire.
Katy, who has written books on Wiltshire folklore will also talk about saints and sinners, devils and demon dogs, old gods, phantom coachmen and strange beings who walk the hilltops at night.
The talk will take place on November 3 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm in the Main Hall of the Oakfield Campus. Admission and parking are free.
