SO now the County Ground is the wrong place for a football stadium, according to Coun M Childs (EA Oct 26).
Well, I've got news for Coun Childs, it's been a football ground for the past 100 years and on a site for sporting use only.
Also it was there before any of the area Coun Childs represents was built.
Seeing as how the rest of Swindon objects to the ground being resited, it's best to stay where we belong.
With regards to traffic it's not only on match days that cars litter the area, it's every day.
Why did buses stop using Cumberland Road and Burford Avenue?
Travel on a 1 and 1a route around Walcot East, buses have to weave around parked vehicles.
I suggest Coun Childs clears up her own back yard of parked vehicles before blaming match days at the County Ground. I look forward to adding my signature this week to the petition to stay at our beloved stadium.
