MELANIE HALL INQUEST: Sunday June 9, 1996 - Melanie Hall disappeared after a night out at Cadillacs Nightclub, Walcot Street, Bath.
Miss Hall's boyfriend, German doctor Phillip Karlbaum, came under suspicion but was later eliminated from inquiries.
October 1996 - Miss Hall's last movements were featured on BBC TV's Crimewatch UK programme, sparking about 90 calls from the public.
June 1998 - Miss Hall's parents offer a £10,000 reward for new information.
August 1998 - Killer John Cannan, who murdered Bristol bride Shirley Banks, is questioned about Miss Hall's disappearance.
December 2000 - Murderer Mark Shilliber, serving a life sentence for killing teenager Rebecca Stores in Bridgend, is questioned over her disappearance, after there were claims he bragged to friends that he had killed Miss Hall.
March 2003 - Two men arrested and farmland at Inglesbatch near Bath is searched following new evidence. The men, both in their 30s, were later released without charge.
November 2004 - An inquest records an open verdict due to lack of evidence as Miss Hall is officially declared dead for the first time.
