CORSHAM took the honours over Melksham in their local derby, the 2-1 win extending their splendid unbeaten run to 11 games in the Premier Division.
The visitors broke the deadlock three minutes before the break when Alan Griffin scored from close range.
The celebrations were cut short as the hosts equalised through Mark Jones on the stroke of half-time.
However, home keeper Bradley Williams presented Corsham with the points when he failed to deal with a long cross in the 80th minute and Griffin drove home the winner.
The victory moved Corsham up into fourth place.
Manager Nobby Bush said: "We decided to take a chance with Alan Griffin although he was only about 70 per cent fit. He wanted to play and it paid off.''
Devizes travel to Bristol today to face Hallen, while in Division One Calne Town entertain Almondsbury.
