A NEW set of on-line heritage calendars for 2005 has been launched as part of the Window on Wiltshire's heritage project.
New pages for the county council's conservation service have also been launched to mark the final phase of the WOW project, an initiative to put the county's history and culture onto the internet.
The calendar proved to be so popular in 2004 that WOW's project officers decided to compile another set of 12 images of Wiltshire for 2005.
The calendar includes a view from Avoncliff aqueduct for January, Bradford Roman villa mosaic (May), Wilton Church (August), Woodhenge (September), and Purton Tithe Barn (November).
Other new features on the WOW website, www.wowheritage.org.uk, include a range of colourful e-cards of views of Wiltshire to send to friends or family, screensavers and picture puzzle games.
The conservation service web pages contain information on the service, including case studies and details of work carried out by the service.
Helen Shalders, Window on Wiltshire's Heritage project officer, said: "The site offers a portal to connect the visitor with a huge range of information about Wiltshire's heritage and culture."
