FOR the first time in a number of years my family did not attend a Boxing Day hunt.
As members of the League Against Cruel Sports, we have peacefully protested against the hunt at Lacock, despite provocation and aggression from hunt supporters.
Since the ban on hunting with hounds was announced anti-hunt people have had to put up with increased intimidation from the hunt and their supporters with the police turning a blind eye to the violence.
This Boxing Day we were advised not to attend the hunt, and with my daughter expecting a baby, could not afford to take a chance.
We have to expect more and more aggression from the hunt as the ban draws near, but what can you expect from people who enjoy killing animals for fun.
