Ref. 74400-07FEARS are growing for the safety of a Swindon teenager who has still not been in contact with her family since going missing on Christmas Eve.
Sixteen-year-old Cherelle has not been seen since she disappeared at noon on Christmas Eve from the temporary home where she was staying in Kent.
Police are appealing for any information about the teenager, who they say is in a very vulnerable position with no money and possibly nowhere to stay.
They think Cherelle may have returned to Swindon where her family live.
It is believed that she returned to Swindon with a man who they say is described as white and aged in his mid 30s.
A Swindon police spokeswoman, said: "Due to Cherelle's vulnerability through age, no money and possible lack of accommodation police are concerned for her well being and make an urgent plea for her to make contact.
"We would like to hear from anyone who has seen Cherelle in the last few days or knows of her current whereabouts."
Swindon duty inspector Keith Ewart, said: "We are obviously still actively looking for her and we are very keen for any information about where she might be."
Cherelle is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, with long, straight blond hair, of small build and very thin, with blue eyes, uneven teeth and a Swindon accent.
It is believed that she was wearing sports clothing when she went missing.
Anyone with information about Cherelle or who might know where she is should contact Swindon police on 01793 528111.
