TEACHER and trainer Rosemary Read will give her personal observations about life in Palestine at a lecture this month.
Rosemary will consider how the birthplace of three of the world's major faiths has become a place of violence and distrust and what can be done to improve this situation.
The Middle East is rarely out of the news and this is a chance to hear a personal account from someone who has experienced the issues at first hand.
Rosemary has witnessed Palestinians queuing to get from their homes to their land and young Israeli soldiers having to police the barrier.
She has met and talked to the diminishing number of Christians living in the area.
Rosemary will give the talk in association with Swindon Churches Together.
It will take place on Wednesday, January 26, 5.30-6.30pm at the University of Bath in Swindon Oakfield Campus Main Hall. Parking and admission are free.
