A HAYDON Wick councillor will continue to hold the surgeries he set up as a trial.
Coun Wayne Lawley (Con, Haydon Wick)has had so many residents come along to his surgeries since August that he is making them a permanent feature.
Coun Lawley said: "I am really pleased to announce the continuation of these regular surgeries.
"Quite a number of constituents have come to see both me and my fellow councillors with their local issues over this period and we feel that it is only right to continue our surgeries if it means we are able to try and help people with matters that are of a real concern to them."
The surgeries will all take place between 9am and 10am on the second Saturday of each month at the offices of Haydon Wick Parish Council.
No appointments are necessary and all residents can attend to discuss local or council issues.
