AN INQUEST will be opened on Friday into the death of a Swindon teenager who died at a New Year house party.
Matthew Loveday, 19, died just before 1am on New Year's Day after he attended a party in Hunter Drive in Bletchley, Buckinghamshire. An ambulance was called after friends saw that Matthew, of Hythe Road, looked unwell.
It arrived within three minutes, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival at hospital in Milton Keynes.
A post-mortem into the cause of his death will take place this week and an inquest will be opened at Milton Keynes Civic Offices on Friday. Police were investigating, but are not treating the death as suspicious.
Officers have not ruled out that his death could have been alcohol related. Matthew's family, who live in Hythe Road declined to comment.
