ESTATE agents Dreweatt Neate has been inundated with inquiries from people interested in buying the Fax A Snack sandwich shop in Monday Market Street, Devizes.
The shop's owner Sue Maconie, 55, is selling up as she battles cancer for a second time.
As a direct result of a story in last week's Gazette about Mrs Maconie's plight, Dreweatt Neate has received numerous calls from interested people.
Spokesman Patrick Murphy said: "We have had 15 inquiries which is more than usual.
"We are arranging viewings and hopefully a sale will be forthcoming."
The business, which Mrs Maconie established in 2000, is being sold as a going concern.
She owns the lease of the shop and the two-bedroom flat above.
She had been in remission from breast cancer for almost seven years when she was told last August that she had secondary cancer in her brain, spine, bones and lungs.
Mrs Maconie, who is recovering from her latest chemotherapy treatment, said she was grateful to the Gazette for publicising her appeal to sell her business and was pleased with the interest.
Anybody interested in buying the property should call Dreweatt Neate on (01380) 736736.
