Motorists welcomed the lower petrol prices.
Philip Toll, 46, a construction worker from Wroughton, said: "I spend a lot of money on fuel. I drive a 4x4 and I spend about £140 a week on petrol so anything that saves money is a good thing.
"I've just got back from Norway and petrol is a lot more expensive over there but I'd welcome any price drop here."
Michael O'Neill, 38, a signalman from the town centre, said: "Petrol prices are always too high and I would definitely welcome a price fall as would all motorists I imagine."
Eighteen-year-old Michael Matthews, a landscape gardener from Eastleaze, said: "I drive a lot for work and you don't have choice do you?
"When you've got to fill it up you've got to pay the price. But if places are all going to start making it cheaper that's good news."
