A SWINDON woman has denied careless driving and fleeing the scene of an accident without stopping.
Janet Malgarin, 58, of Buller Street in Gorse Hill, has pleaded not guilty to driving her blue Ford Mondeo without due care and attention and failing to stop after an accident.
The accident happened in Newport Street on June 8 2004, and it resulted in a woman being injured.
It is alleged she left the scene of the accident without supplying her details to anyone.
She also denies a charge of not providing her details to a police station or police officer within 24 hours of the accident.
Malgarin, who appeared before magistrates on December 13, will next appear on January 27 for a pre-trial review.
She entered a not guilty plea at a hearing on October 21.
