TWELVE of Wiltshire's historical gems are pictured on a calendar produced as part of a countywide heritage project.
Avoncliff Aqueduct, Bradford's Roman villa mosaic, Wilton Church, Woodhenge and Purton's Tithe Barn all feature in the online calendars, designed to promote the Window on Wiltshire's heritage project.
A similar calendar produced in 2004 proved so popular with customers project officers decided to repeat it for 2005.
WOW is a Wiltshire County Council-run project designed to put more of the county's history and culture onto the internet. It is funded by a £425,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
In addition to the calendar more pages have been tagged on to the site including case studies on the conservation of the Amesbury Archer and a project to save Bronze Age ceramics.
Helen Shalders, of the WOW project, said: "The launch of the conservation pages marks the final phase of the WOW project, which has taken more than three years to complete."
