A FORMER Bradford on Avon man is appealing for help in tracing a couple who were friends of his late parents.
Robert Opie, who now lives in Radstock, receives a Christmas card from a couple he knows only as Jean and Keith every year, addressed to his father Ted Opie, who died over four years ago.
He said: "My father died of a brain tumour in August 2000. It was very sudden and we did all we could to let all his friends know.
"Every Christmas since I have received a card from Jean and Keith addressed to my father and every year I feel terrible that they probably think he can't be bothered to send them one."
The cards do not have a return address.
Mr Opie lived in Bradford on Avon as a child with his father, mother Sally and sister Lisa.
His mother died 20 years ago, when he was just nine and his sister five years old, and the family then left Bradford on Avon and moved to Radstock.
