74460-86WAKE OF THE TSUNAMI: SWINDON iron man Brian Hall ran more than the length of a marathon to raise money for victims of the tsunami.
Fitness fanatic Brian, 22, who last year ran a double marathon to raise money for the Great Western Hospital, donned his running shoes again. Along with brother Kelvin, 21, who serves in the Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment, he ran around Swindon for 12 hours yesterday collecting money for the Red Cross appeal.
Brian, from Rodbourne, started at the Running Horse pub on Wootton Bassett Road at 11am and was set to finish there at 11pm last night after touring pubs across Swindon.
About halfway through he told the Adver: "It is going really well. I have done something to my knee but it is still moving so that is okay."
