Swindon return from the Christmas break to visit Milton Keynes in Berks Bucks & Oxon Premier tomorrow, but they face the trip without some key personnel.
Up front, prop Nick Brooks breaks back into the starting line-up.
Behind him, both locks, Andy Morley and Pete Atkinson, will be out for several weeks, which gives an opportunity for Stephen Davis, who has recently joined the club.
Tom Loukes moves up from the back row to pack down alongside him. Ian Reynolds comes in at No 8.
The back line is virtually unchanged, but with Nathan Waite, James Turney and Stuart Cock recovering well from injury, coach John Brown is hoping to have a full squad to pick from soon.
Wootton Bassett are back in league action, and will be looking to begin the new year with a flying start when they visit Southern Counties South bottom club Minety.
Coach Graham Stickler has selected an unchanged squad from the team that defeated Redingensians 35-0 the week before Christmas.
He will be looking for an excellent performance from the squad to cement their joint top spot in the league.
The 2nd are back in Bath Combination League action when they play host to Bath outfit Stothert and Pitt.
Captain Rob May returns to the bench after a spell in New Zealand, and back row Stuart Catherall returns after a lay off due to injury.
May will be looking for a repeat win over their opponents because Bassett came out on top, winning 45-0 when the two teams met at the start of the season.
Ady Briggs' 3rd follow the 1st and make the short journey to Minety to face Minety 2nd.
Briggs has moved to the bench to allow youngster Danny Toon take his place in the second row after returning from a year playing in New Zealand.
Toon will still partner a Briggs, but instead of captain Ady it will be his son Woody.
THE delayed matches in the second round of the Dorset & Wilts 1st XV Vase competition are to be played on Saturday, January 15.
The games are: Wincanton v Bradford, North Dorset v Bridport, Wootton Bassett v Supermarine, Bradford on Avon v Marlborough, and Westbury v Swindon.
