SWINDON has a fascinating and diverse history. And the Swindon Society is at the forefront of documenting the town's past.
The society has a packed programme of talks for the next few months.
Highlights include a celebration of Swindon photographer William Hooper, who died 50 years ago and a year in the life of last year's mayor Derek Benfield.
Meetings are held at 7.30pm on the second Wednesday of the month at the Broadgreen Centre, in Salisbury Street.
Call Martin Vandevelde on 01793 521910 for further details.
