HOW much sillier is all this going to get. Two minutes silence on Remembrance Sunday and November 11 are right and proper but now we are asked to give three because of a tidal wave in the Indian Ocean.
Yes, I feel sorry for those who have lost everything but so did many in war.
Keep the silent tribute for its real purpose, not for just any old cause.
I wait for someone to call for five minutes because next door's cat has died. It's very nearly that silly now and the real reasons almost swamped by PC do gooders.
