A GROUP of youngsters in Wootton Bassett spent the whole day washing cars on Saturday to raise money for victims of the tsunami disaster.
Thomas and Bethany Ponting, aged 11 and nine, Gemma and Lauren Sandercock, aged 12 and eight and nine-year-old Alex Macindoe wanted to do something to help after hearing about the tragedy in school.
The children, all from Dunnington Road in Wootton Bassett, raised £25 after washing 10 cars for £2.50 each.
Thomas and Bethany's mother, Donna Ponting, said: "It was all their own idea, they decided they wanted to help. I didn't think they would do it but I'm really proud of them all, they were out in the freezing cold all day and they did a great job."
