Westlecot men were triumphant 24 hours after their Denny Cup disappointment in their latest group match in the Wessex League.
They extended their unbeaten record to four wins in the East Region with a 98-76 top-of-the-table victory over Oxford City & County.
Westlecot collected 14 points out of a maximum 16 and are now nine points clear of Oxford & District with Oxford C & C dropping to third place.
Thamesdown, whose game with Carterton was postponed, lie seventh in the eight-team table.
The rinks, skipped by Dave Snell and Mike Jackson, both recorded victories at Westlecot, despite the latter dropping a six on the last end.
They led 10-6 and 13-7 respectively at 10 ends with Snell going 26-12 up at 18 ends and Jackson leading 24-13.
Away, Chris Cheesley's quartet led 10-2 at five ends and 18-3 at 10, and cruised to victory.
It was a different story on the next rink as Hedley Bowen's foursome were 10-0 down at five ends but trailed 14-9 at 10, losing by one shot.
Westlecot's next Wessex League game is against West Berks (Newbury) on January 30. Meanwhile, Thamesdown face Rivermead (Reading) on Sunday.
