I HAVE become the victim of more silly hoaxes. Taxis keep arriving and I have no idea who is responsible. I rang the police and they thought it was kids playing the fool.
In which case they obviously get too much pocket money.
If they ring from home, surely parents keep a record of phone calls?
It is the taxi firms who suffer the waste of time and petrol.
I suggest pocket money for 14 to 16 year olds should be a maximum of £1 a week. Enough for a quarter of sweets and save the rest for anything they need.
The money some children squander it is no wonder we suffer inflation.
