SWINDON'S farmers' market is to become a regular event. Wiltshire's finest produce will be in town this Friday and then every second Friday of the month throughout the year after town centre bosses decided to make the popular market a monthly event.
Products on sale at the markets include honey, free range eggs, organic vegetables, farmhouse jams and chutneys, fresh fruit juices, fresh meats and poultry, rare breed meats, handmade sausages and bacon, cheeses, cakes, pies and pasties.
The first market on Friday will be in Canal Walk from 9am to 1.30pm. Subsequent markets will be held in Canal Walk the second Friday of every month.
