PLANS to introduce CCTV coverage in Highworth have been extended to cover more of the town.
The town council is planning to install cameras in Swindon Street following a spate of problems.
And now councillors have also agreed that they should be installed in an alleyway running between the Co-op in Brewery Street and the town centre.
Troublemakers have been congregating in Gilbert's Alley and causing problems at the town council meeting rooms.
Deputy mayor Steve Weisinger said: "They have been running around the function rooms while groups are holding meetings and throwing eggs through open windows.
"They also cause a lot of problems for people who live in the alley."
Plans for cameras in Swindon Street were first mooted after a mass street brawl in September.
Trouble has been linked to late night revellers who gather around fast food outlets there after pub closing time.
