HOTSHOT striker Toby Colbourne fired a six-minute hat-trick that helped extend Corsham's unbeaten run to 12 games on Saturday.
Colbourne has now netted 15 times for Corsham since his move from first division side Westbury in October.
Manager Colin Bush heaped praise on the striker, who was on his own up front as fellow forward Alan Griffin had 'flu.
He said: "He was excellent on Saturday, the way he is playing shows he is enjoying his time at Corsham. He was a great signing for us and is a proven goalscorer.
"Toby and Alan have struck a great partnership for us this season and combine well together."
Corsham have now taken 31 points from a possible 33 and have not lost in the league since August when they went down 2-1 at Bideford.
"It was an outstanding second half performance. All credit to the Clyst players they worked hard for their manager throughout the game.
"The first half was frustrating as we missed a host of chances to take a bigger lead into the break.
"I told them to stop being wasteful and they responded."
The manager was hampered as midfielders Scott Lye and Jamie Lyons were playing for Wiltshire in the FA Counties Youth Cup Quarter final.
"Alan Webb and John Aldred came in for the two county boys and did really well. Alan worked his socks off without getting the reward of a goal.
It took Corsham just two minutes to open their scoring thanks to a fine individual effort from midfielder Frank Coleman. The veteran midfielder sprinted down the left flank, cut inside the box and tucked the ball underneath the home keeper.
Clyst put up a brave performance for the next half hour and slowly edged closer to their guest's goal.
They forced an equaliser on the half hour mark when a cross came in from the right for their striker to volley into the top corner.
Corsham once again took the lead a few minutes from half time when a run down the right from Jack Cullis opened up the home defence. He pulled it back to defender Dan Beck who blasted it in from just inside the box.
After the break Corsham came out with all guns blazing and Colbourne started his quick hat-trick on 50 minutes.
As a cross came in from the right the hitman spun his defender and hooked the ball into the net.
His second was scored just two minutes later when he arrived at the back post to slot in.
He finished his second hat-trick in a Corsham shirt when he picked up a loose ball and drilled it in from outside the penalty area.
The fourth came on 70 minutes when Aldred arrived at the far post to tap in a long cross.
With ten minutes to go midfielder Jack Cullis made a superb run down the centre and cracked the ball from the edge of the box, the keeper did not even move as it flew past him.
The manager thought there were a few more goals in his side.
"If we had been a bit more careful we could have bagged a few more. I think seven is a new record for us away from home."
Corsham have a break from the league and play Hellenic Premier side Pewsey Vale at home on Saturday.
Their next Screwfix match is a week later away at Barnstaple Town.
