PEOPLE in Devizes have been asked to contact the police if they are offered TVs or videos that may have been stolen from the charity Kennet Furniture Exchange.
Volunteers who work for the charity turned up at its Hopton Park headquarters on Monday to find it boarded up.
Alan Pope, one of the trustees, said: "The door locks had been sawn out, completely wrecking the doors. Two big TVs have been taken as well as two video recorders and music centres."
Kennet Furniture Exchange takes in unwanted household effects, refurbishes them and passes them on to people in need in the district.
Mr Pope said: "I can't understand anyone doing something like this to a charity.
"These items could be offered for sale in pubs this week."
People should call Devizes police on (01380) 722141.
