Swindon Young Actors are updating the classic Shakespeare play Twelfth Night tonight. About 16 youngsters aged from 15-19 will be strutting their stuff in Olivia's Nightclub on the pop party island of Illyria in the 1980s.
Julia Dickinson and Mark Flitton are co-directing the production at the Swindon Arts Centre, Devizes Road, Old Town, at 8pm.
Some familiar characters will pass through the club including resident DJ Feste the clown in the original version and, of course, Malvolio who is the nightclub manager in this show.
Julia said: "Swindon Young Actors have been going for four years and meet at St Luke's Church Hall and Commonweal School in Old Town."
Starring in this comedy of Twelfth Night are Anna Hirsch-Holland as Viola, Lucy Bloxham in Olivia, Imani Bryan is Orsino, Alex Hedge is Malvolio.
Tickets are £5 and £4 concessions from 01793 614837.
