HIGH winds saw two trees fall across the main road near Chapmanslade on Friday night.
The trees fell within 200 yards of each other on the A3098 between Short Street and the bridge over the A36.
Section officer Nigel Wilcox, of Westbury police, said: "When we got there at 7.45pm the first one was half blocking the road.
"We then heard another was totally blocking the road further up, but by the time we arrived some motorists had moved it on their own.
"We put up signs and directed traffic past, but fortunately there wasn't too much around."
