A SURVEY by KPMG has found that most companies do not provide schemes in which their staff can contribute to good causes via their salaries.
Almost 61 percent of the working people questioned in the south west region by YouGov for the survey said that their employers do not offer any form of payroll giving scheme through which they could make donations.
Such schemes are often tax efficient because the charities can receive the full donation made by employees, while the employees receive tax relief on the donations made.
