The Royal National Institute For The Deaf is offering a free assessment and guidance for businesses which may face court action over the Disability Discrimination Act.
The RNID, the largest charity representing the nine million deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK, is offering the Louder Than Words benchmark assessments to the first 30 small businesses from across the UK to contact them.
The assessments usually cost about £500 and take a day to complete.
The assessments benchmark organisations against what adjustments may be required by the Disability Discrimination Act for those with a degree of hearing loss.
To get more information on whether your organisation is eligible for the Louder Than Words benchmarks, e-mail: jacqueline.haskell@rnid.org.uk or call David Bourne on 020 7296 8060.
