A SURVEY compiled by the GMB union has revealed women in Wiltshire earn up to 25 per cent less than male counterparts.
Statistics taken from the GMB's Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings showed women in the county earn only 74.8 per cent of the wages of men in similar jobs.
Gender pay gaps in Wiltshire are not the worst in the south west, with women in Poole getting the worst pay deal.
The smallest gender pay gap for the south west was found in Cornwall, where women working full time earn 87.5 per cent of what men take home.
