A YOUNG man was attacked as he was leaving a party at a pub in Bradford on Avon.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the attack in the car park of the Riverside Inn shortly after midnight on Sunday morning.
PC Pete Clarke, of Bradford on Avon police, said the man suffered injuries in the assault and needed hospital treatment.
PC Clarke said: "He was a totally innocent party who was attacked for no reason outside the pub. I would urge anyone who saw anything to come forward."
Shortly before this attack a 42-year-old man from Bradford suffered minor head injuries in an incident in Silver Street.
A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man from Bradford on Avon and a 17-year-old boy from Trowbridge have been charged with public order offences and will appear before Chippenham magistrates on January 27. A fourth youth was given a police caution.
