I BEG space to make a couple of hopefully helpful observations on the Peter Black report.
Toothpaste and soap even if it is unsaleable and old stock need water, which even the PB directors must know is in very short supply.
If the 'business decisions' taken in this company are all of this calibre then perhaps it's time for the company shareholders and workers to start voting with their feet.
Please note PB, in this appeal cash is king right now not vague intent statements.

PS I have not and have never had any connection with PB.
I HAVE just read the story in today's Wiltshire Times about Peter Black not allowing their factory workers to participate in the international three-minute silence, but allowing the rest of their staff to participate.
I was appalled that their only comment was to say it was a company decision and that some how this makes it a fair and justified reason.
Then they had the complete audacity to say they were making a donation to the appeal by giving away stock that is no longer wanted or saleable.
Peter Black, you should be ashamed of yourselves as you have just shown yourselves to be uncaring of people's feelings especially those of some of your staff, by prejudicing some staff's wishes against others.
As for your donation while it would be greatly appreciated by those in need, not much caring thought has gone into it by yourselves.
It's just a way of disposing of your waste.
